It's been nearly three years since we first told you about a new warning system being developed by Mercedes aimed at combating driver fatigue and the occurrence of falling asleep behind the wheel. Today, the company has announced the technology - officially titled "Attention Assist" - is ready for series production, with the system set to debut on Mercedes models starting in spring 2009.
