The guys over at Carmagazine.co.uk have gotten the chance to see the upcoming LRX concept in person and of course brought their trusty video cameras with them. The "Baby Land Rover" which will debut at the Detroit Auto Show was shown to Car by Land Rover 's design director recently and Ben Barry was there to give you the footage. Is it us or does this thing look like a smushed, coupe Land Rover Range Stormer?

A week ago, I posted a video made by MSN Cars in the UK, where they compared the Mercedes GL, Audi Q7 and Range Rover V8. It seems that the Germans have seen the video somewhere (possibly here), and have thought to themselves, "Das kann ja wohl nicht wahr sein"

Bespoke Range Rover tuner Overfinch has revealed their newest performance upgrade, this time for Land Rovers new Turbo-Diesel V8 Range Rover. The new Overfinch Range Rover Vogue TDV8 GT features their very stylish performance 5-piece Aero Body Styling Pack, 22″ wheels and loads of bespoke upgrades, but what blows our mind is the phenomenal power and torque increase from the already potent TDV8. Horsepower has increased to 321 and torque is now a thundering 582 lbft.....

It looks like Land Rover has finally waked up from its slumber and started to care about fuel economy. Its new Freelander 2 TD4_e compact SUV is equipped with engine start-stop technology, getting quite popular these days.

The original BMW X5 made quite a splash when it hit UK showrooms in 1999. It wasnt the worlds first upmarket 4x4 the Range Rover preceded it by nearly 30 years but its arrival, more than that of any other model, helped to kick-start the surge in popularity for full-size SUVs.

Because lets be honest, nothing is less logical than falling in love with a Land Rover, even the LR3, especially at a time when the price of a litre of gas is almost higher than that of a kilo of caviar.

Before being purchased by the Indian conglomerate Tata, Land Rover created this - the LRX Concept. Not just another consumptive SUV, the LRX is a two-door that gathers vitality from both diesel fuel and electricity.

Land Rover will officially present its refreshed LR3 at the next British international motor show in August.
