JDM Subaru Impreza S-GT: The folks over at North American Subaru Impreza Owners Club procured the blurry shot, along with some specs on the Japanese market Subaru Impreza. Thankfully, it looks like the de-chromed grille has made another appearance, which, by many accounts, is far better than the one shown on the production car unveiled in New York.

With its new tuning program, the British tuner makes the JDM-based Impreza STI a true pocket rocket with whooping 400hp of available firepower.

The Japanese media have been going crazy over what could possibly be a long awaited replacement for the AE86 sprinter ‘cult car’. As previously reported by Carupdate, the original AE86 sparked influence for the successful ‘Initial D’ franchise in Japan

Working its way through the banked Carousel, wearing only a modicum of disguise we get the first glimpse at what the STi will look like in the flesh and its none too shabby.
