Today GM finally presented its 2011 Chevy Cruze compact sedan and released a set of hi-res photos of the vehicle's interior. Frankly speaking, I'm impressed.

We had a feeling GM was sandbagging us with the production specs of the 2009 Corvette ZR1 back in December. 620 horses is equal to one hundred horsepower per liter they told us. Revised specs in the Spring, we heard. Well, it's unveiling time at the Museum's C5/C6 Bash and GM finally makes the Supercharged LS9 6.2L V8 power specs official: The new 2009 Corvette ZR1 produces 638 horsepower and 604 lb-ft of torque.

A quick run-down of the demographics for the 3-series customer, as written by BMW for its salespeople. No real surprises, but it is nice to see the information collected in one place.

Keep in mind the Volt only debuted in 2007! For a large American company to go from concept to production in less than 2 years during a time of desperation really goes to show how motivation can really turn a company around.

Someone sent GM's Bob Lutz a photochopped Corvette ZR1 decked out in Michigan State Police graphics and featuring the prerequisite light bar, bumper guard and awesome blacked out wheels. Without regard to notifying the PR department who were baffled by the incoming calls from new media outlets, Bob uploaded the image to GM's Fastlane Blog.

Corvette's ZR1 was spotted yesterday at the Nürburgring. Reports that the weather has been warm and dry over the previous days has brought out Team Corvette and their supercharged 638 hp Corvette ZR1, this time dressed in red. Eyewitnesses speculate that GM may have been looking for a lap time as he "spotted a helicopter chasing something that sounded very V8 and awfully supercharged..."

We're pretty psyched about the live action Speed Racer movie coming out next month and what a better way promote the May 9th premiere than with a movie-inspired contest. The prize? How about a Speed Racer inspired Mach 5 Corvette?
