Nearly 30 years after Mark Hamill and Annie Potts drove a hideous custom Corvette to B-Movie success, one of the movie's promotional cars was offered up and sold on eBay this morning for $30,000.

MotorTrend serves up a quick video of a straight line drag race between the Corvette ZR1 (638hp), Ferrari 599 GTB (612hp), Nissan GT-R (480hp), Porsche 911 GT2 (530hp).

The ORIGINAL ELEANOR!!. This is one of the actual movie cars. There were 11 total production cars, of those , 8 were shells and 3 were actual running and driving cars. The 1967 Mustang GT500 stole the show in “Gone in Sixty Seconds,” the 2000 action hit starring Nicolas Cage.
