After Ford got rid of Aston Martin for what in the end amounted to a quickcash fix, it’s interesting to wonder just what’s going on at Britain’s most prestigious boutique sports car firm.

A Dutch auto blog 925.nl has somehow managed to procure some newly rendered pics of the upcoming Aston Martin One-77 (video)! The Aston Martin One-77 (photos) (limited to 77) will mostly sport a 7.3-liter V12 engine pumping out over 700hp. It will also have predominant aluminum body panels and a carbon fiber chassis.

Looks like some photos of Goldfinger’s Gold Aston Martin DB7 surfaced over the weekend. This 24-carat gold and platinum-leafed DB7 was customized by Alchemist. It also has seven diamonds embedded in the bodywork.

Another wicked batch of modified & exotic cars. Among these photos is Jason Spezza's (Ottawa Senators) new Black Mercedes Benz CLS 63 slammed with Lowenhart LSR wheels.

Aston Martin is reportedly making several episodes on the One-77 for its website. You can check out episode one below. Make sure you check back here for Episode 2 to be released on November 11.

Featured cars include Lamborghini Gallardos, Ferrari F430 coupe, Ferrari 575M, Carlsson Benz CK55 and CM55, BMW M5, Benz E55, Aston Martin Vanquish, Lotus Exige S, 996 GT3, and a couple of Opel Astra Wagons catching air (??)

Seems like the ugly and the uglier (according to many auto-bloggers) were playing some ring around the rosy or catch the leader recently as both black sheep models were photographed running the Nurburgring together!
