Hyundai Veracruz car-based SUV that can seat up to seven persons, enters European market as the 2009 ix55 model, offers more style and refinement over the U.S.-spec model.

The latest Hyundai Veracruz full-size crossover SUV, already on sell in Korea, has officially launched in the U.S. and Canada. The new 2007 Veracruz, which is supposed to compete with such established brands as the Lexus RX 350 and the Honda Pilot, will come to the local customers with an exclusive 3.8-liter gasoline engine.

The feather-light price tag makes the new Hyundai Veracruz less expensive than the new Saturn Outlook, Mazda CX-9 and V-6 Toyota Highlander

The Australian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) has awarded the latest Subaru B9 Tribeca 'ute the highest possible safety rating, giving it a maximum of five stars. The ANCAP assessment is based on frontal and side-impact crash tests, regarding customer's chances to walk away from the place of accident. The Tribeca scored an impressive 33.07 out of a maximum of 37 points.
