We have recently been treated to several zebra-pattern camouflage 2010 NSX spottings in June at the Nurbrugring in Germany and as a result here are some speculative renderings to surface of Honda’s new V10 powered Acura NSX replacement.
The De Tomaso Panthera Concept, is a project based on the Lamborghini Gallardo’s platform, or else, it would have a V10 engine, 4WD system and a unique style, what would make this machine an easy target for wealthy buyers that want an exclusive piece of machinery. And, as we all know, they are not so few.
Confirming widespread speculation, American Honda Motor Co. Inc. CEO Tesuo Iwamura told WardsAuto.com “We are developing it without any delay, so most probably we will have it in the period we already promised”. The car will arrive in 2010.
Audi has halted R8 development of the higher-powered twin-turbo Lambo V10 from the RS6; there have been fires in prototype development and other options – namely a naturally aspirated V10 – are now most likely. This year’s V12 diesel concept car (image, far right) points to the likelihood of a spider sports car, powered by the 6.0-litre bent twelve delivering a traction-troubling 493bhp and 738lb ft. Sounds mad, but Audi is deadly serious about putting this into production.
German G-Power tuning studio has unveiled its new tuning program for the current BMW 3 Series vehicles. The program, which is to be officially presented during the next Essen Motor Show tuning fest, is not limited to appearance only but also covers vehicles' powerplants and chassis.
Hartge has done this a few times before -- put the M5 engine in a 3-series. They managed to do it again with the E60 M5's V10 engine, tweaked to 550 hp, with the 7-speed SMG transmission.
Rumours are that this is the Lamborghini Gallardo V8, spotted on the Nürburgring. The exhaust note is somewhat similar to that of the Audi R8 and recent spy photos of the rear reveal smaller exhaust pipes than on the V10 Gallardo.
