f you're wondering what the future holds for the 2009 Mercedes-Benz CLK-Class, Auto Express has just published an article detailing what they believe we can expect from the new model. According to the publication, the new CLK will be based on a modified C-Class platform, but still marketed as a completely unique model (no surprises there).
Although the next E is heavily disguised, one of the most obvious additions is undoubtedly the grille reminiscent of the one found on the new C-Class. As for the rest of the vehicle, masking makes its difficult to see anything for certain, but I wouldn't be surprised if other styling elements found on the C-Class made their way to the new E as well.
Further evidence that Audi’s new M5 fighter is nearing production readiness are photos snapped in Europe of a basically undisguised RS6. Sans the black and white chequered disguise seen in photos and videos to-date we are afforded a good look at the new styling of Audi’s new RS6.
There were a lot of rumors about new Buick LaCrosse Super, partially based on the well-received 2004 Buick Velite convertible concept vehicle. As Inside Line reported in March, the new LaCrosse Super could be the first sedan in the LaCrosse line, equipped with a V8 engine featuring about 300 hp. Now it seems that the rumors begin to find some ground.
Power for the model is expected to come by way of Mercedes' new 6.3-Liter V8, with a power output of around 600 horsepower. The source also suggests turbo and CGI fuel injection technology may also make its way onto the new CLK DTM AMG.
Adding to the Mercedes S-Class convertible speculation that's been building since back in June, Automobile magazine today is reporting that yes, the model is still set to debut at the Detroit Auto Show next month....
