Toyota announced today that the Scion xA Release Series 3.0 will arrive at dealer showrooms beginning in October. The 2006 Scion xA Release Series 3.0 will come in a stunning Stingray Metallic light blue exterior paint and offer unique exterior and interior enhancements. Standard features include front and rear KenStyle® ground effects, Release Series wheel covers, color-tuned seat fabric and a rear spoiler.
The said vehicle is a boxy vehicle which was not expected to become a huge hit. The xB restyling gives the car a more substantial look. As Americans want their vehicles to be roomy, the automaker has gone to great lengths to increase the room inside the vehicle. Apart from being bigger, Scion also announced that their consumers want to have a more powerful xB.
Over at the Chicago Auto Show this week, Toyota has been pretty busy showing off a bunch of new cars under the Scion banner. The least econobox of the bunch is the newly revitalized 2008 Scion tC coupe.
"The 2008 Scion xD is a clever new take on the five-door urban subcompact, with style and flair to match its efficiency and utility," said Mark Templin, Scion vice president. "The Scion xD's aggressive styling is wrapped in a small, agile package, while its interior offers impressive details and a spacious cabin."
It was the car that put "box" in "econobox" and now it has received a mild facelift. The 2008 Scion xB still has the same square proportions as its predecessor, but it appears to have moved ever so slightly upscale.

In a list of the 10 hottest cars now on the market, six of the 10 are products of the Toyota Motor Co. The Prius tops the list and all three of Toyota's low-priced Scion models are on the list, as well.
