The motorsports firm is slapping its big P on the RX-8 PZ, based on the top-line RX-8. The limited edition model includes a choice of black or gray paint, Prodrive-branded 18\224 OZ alloys, aerodynamically friendly side mirrors and a functional rear spoiler.

Today marks the 40th anniversary of Mazda’s first rotary engine powered vehicle. Mazda has been the only supporter of rotary powered cars in the last few decades and as of the end of April 2007, Mazda has manufactured approximately 1,970,000 rotary vehicles.
