The Audi Q7 TDI large crossover with a diesel engine receives yet another tuning program from a reputable tuner. The German B&B company has presented two tuning sets for both current Audi Q7 3.0 TDI and the upcoming Q7 with a more powerful diesel V8 with a displacement of some 4.2 liters.
The new Street Rocket tuning program for the Audi Q7 crossover SUV doesn't add a lot in terms of power but makes the car look more desirable and not so, err, German, IYKWIM.

Size matters. Or at least that seemed to be Audis philosophy when it came to developing its first off-roader. The Q7 is massive: 250mm longer and 68mm wider than the Discovery with a wheelbase of more than three metres.
To be presented at the Paris Motor Show, this six-litre V12 will make its debut in the Audi Q7 producing a colossal 500 Hp and an even more astonishing 1.000 Nm or 101,9 kgm of torque which is available from just 1,750 rpm... The V12 TDI transmits this power through a new six-speed tiptronic gearbox to the quattro permanent four-wheel drive.
The Siegen-based tuner B&B offers two possible performance modifications for the new Audi Q7 4.2 TDI. Level 1 increases performance up to 268kw/365hp and torque up to 850 Nm. The noble SUV reaches in level 2 performance top values of 290kw/395hp and torque of about 900Nm. This allows accelerations of less than 7 seconds from 0-100km/h and top speed of more than 240km/h.
Audi has announced that the Audi Q7 Hybrid will go on sale towards the end of 2008. The Audi Q7 Hybrid will be powered by a 280 PS 3.6 liter FSI petrol engine and an electric motor
Apparently Audi, official sponsor of the Real Madrid football team, has replaced David Beckham's stolen BMW X5 with a fully-loaded Audi Q7. No word on whether or not it's armored, or if it comes with a tracking system (that's turned on). Seems like it's better than an insurance policy!
