The Supercharged 650 hp Corvette ZR1 made a surprise visit to Laguna Seca in Monterey today, completing a couple of hot laps with Corvette Racing's Johnny O'Connell behind the wheel.

The much-hyped Corvette ZR1 with its supercharged 650 hp LS9 engine did two hot laps around the track at Monterey's Laguna Seca before heading back to the pits. An American LeMans series cameraman captured the action.

GM Holden celebrated today as the first Pontiac G8 engineering prototypes to be produced at Holden Vehicle Operations in Elizabeth rolled off the line. The G8 will be available in Pontiac dealerships in the United States in early 2008 to take its place among General Motors' flagship high performance vehicles.
