The 2008 Volkswagen PASSAT Sedan and Wagon get new trim level naming, Turbo, Komfort, Lux, and VR6. There is also a new interior trim on the Turbo model.

First featured at SEMA, this VW Passat's aerodynamics package, wheels, suspension, and exhaust tip are what US customers will be able to buy as a $4,500 options package later this year. Individual pieces will be available at dealers as well.

The best-selling Passat model, the SE, which accounted for over half of UK sales of the range last year, is set to be replaced by an all-new variant – the Passat Highline. This new permanent addition to the range features a higher level of standard specification than the SE it supersedes.
