The movie "Redline," starring Eddie Griffin, is being produced by real-estate investor Daniel Sadek. The new James Bond, Daniel Craig, is not forsaking his (Ford-owned) Aston Martin, but he will also drive the new Mondeo in Casino Royale.
Ford hand-built a Mondeo earlier this year, so it could have a small part in the film, set in the Bahamas. It sounds like the car will only be on film for a few seconds, but Ford reckons hand-building a prototype is worth the exposure.
