Hyundai Motors, the leading auto major, is planning to source small cars from India for the US car market to meet the current demand for small cars. The small car is believed to fall between the Smart ForTwo and the Honda Fit in terms of car size. According to sources, the car will be the Hyundai i10 that is 140 inches long, 21 inches shorter than Honda Fit and 34 inches longer than the Smart car.
