Today Motorola announced the availability of its latest Ferrari-branded cell phone based on the RAZR2 V9. As a result of his victory (his second of the season), Lewis now holds first in the driver's rankings for the season with 38 points, with Kimi Raikkonen ranks second with 35 points after his ninth place finish for the day. In the Constructor's Championship, Vodafone Mclaren Mercedes moved up to second with the victory to 53 points, while Ferrari leads with 69 points.

The race weekend started out well for the McLaren Mercedes team, with Lewis Hamilton capturing pole position in qualifying and teammate Heikki Kovalainen starting the race from seventh. And the 120 hp Benz from Benz & Cie. competed in the French Grand Prix in Dieppe exactly 100 years ago.
