Ford will unveil a new Explorer concept at the Detroit show - the Ford Explorer

Explorer adds more features for comfort and convenience for 2008, including: industry-exclusive Ford Sync hands-free communications and entertainment system (late availability), voice-activated navigation system and new 20-inch wheels (late availability). - Innovative technology. Explorer is the first Ford vehicle to receive the new capless fuel filling system (late availability).

The introduction of the 2007 Explorer Sport Trac production model was welcome, but rediculously understated as there was only one model available - locked and roped off to the public. Despite some disappointments, Ford still had a solid showing of the Explorer.

New fuel-cell-powered Ford Explorer is unveiled today at the 2006 Los Angeles Auto Show. The SUV stands out from the crowd due to its ability to travel about 350 miles on a single fill-up. That's the best result for the current fuel-cell vehicles.
