Spy photographer Hans G. Lehmann caught the 2007/2008 BMW 3-Series sedan sans disguise today in Germany. The car is almost certainly a 335i turbo model. The car was first spotted driving up and down a mountain road with a disguise over the front end.
The 335d will generate 313 horsepower post-upgrade, a figure that's complemented by a rather asphalt-shredding 463 lb/ft of torque at only 2000 rpm. The turbocharged 335i will see its output bumped up to a healthy 380 hp.

BMW has officially revealed its new 3-Series Convertible. The vehicle comes with a new folding hardtop, which takes just about 22 seconds to open or close, and will be shipped with a choice of two petrol engines and a diesel.

We're thrilled to be living in a world with choices, and BMW certainly provides them with its T218 hp 2.5L 325i, 272 hp 3.0L 330i, and 306 hp 3.0L 335i, makng the latter the fastest new 3-series, at least for the moment... we're also pleased to report that the M3 will have a 400 hp V8 when it goes on sale next year.
