Vorsteiner has recently attempted to recreate the tweaking of BMW CSL models, which pumped out extra power and were more exciting to drive. Why not leave the CSL to BMW? Well BMW’s M Division chief Ludwig Willisch apparently recently revealed the company wouldn’t be building a CSL version of the current M3 because there wasn’t enough projected demand for the car.

Top speed increases to 300 km/h.

The new BMW E92 M3 V8 follows BMW’s other M engines, which is to take a small engine and develop power through high RPMs. Torque is ordinary, but the throttle and valvegear is BMW’s usual magic allowing higher RPMs. This engine needs to be wound out to make power.
“The new M3 pulls in 6th gear like most cars would pull in 2nd or 3rd. It’s an F16 fighter jet with four wheels and no wings. I was sitting, just cruising at a comfortable 70 or so mph in 6th gear when I decided to push the limits. I pushed the gas to the floor, and at 2000 RPM roughly, the car moved to 100 in nothing.”
The Fireblade concept was designed by independent stylist Idries Noah, and is meant to be a sharp new set of clothing for the already terrifying Corvette ZR1. Rumours are that this is the Lamborghini Gallardo V8, spotted on the Nürburgring. The exhaust note is somewhat similar to that of the Audi R8 and recent spy photos of the rear reveal smaller exhaust pipes than on the V10 Gallardo.
