BMW has released detailed information and photos of the USA market version of the 2008 BMW 3 Series Sedan and of the 2008 BMW 3 Series Touring Sports Wagon.
The sedan will feature regenerative-brake technology that takes some of the stress of running the alternator off the engine by using heat lost from the brakes. Somehow this translates to 10% fuel savings, too.
We haven’t seen a four door M3 for some ten years now so its interesting to see how BMW have styled the new four-door bahn-stormer. Not expecting much, it is a pleasant surprise to see a car that combines four door practicality with the pent up aggression of the M3 coupe – in fact, I almost prefer the styling of the sedan.
