The Carbon Motors Corporation just unveiled the Carbon ‘E7′ today. They have built the world’s first law enforcement vehicle. The concept of the E7 was to engineer a law enforcement vehicle from the ground up versus retrofitting a standard passenger production vehicle for enforcement purposes.
As we reported earlier last month on rumors of the RUF Electric Porsche Cayman, RUF has actually been developing a prototype RUF Electric Porsche 997! It currently features a 204hp (150kW) electric motor producing 650 Nm (480 lb-ft) of torque.

The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has just added another award to its long list of accolades, with the new-generation roadster receiving AutoScout24's Internet Auto Award 2008 in the "Convertibles & Roadsters" category. In total, more than 300,000 individuals cast their vote for the model, with 18 other convertibles and roadsters all vying for the top spot.

The first all-wheel-drive car for everyday use was built by Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG) in 1907. The "Dernburg-Wagen", as it was known, even featured all-wheel steering. It is called after the then Secretary of State of the Colonial Office Bernhard Dernburg who drove many a kilometer in it in Africa the following year.

Filmed in July 2008 this awesome video pits the Sweedish Koenigsegg CCX vs Italian Ferrari 430 Scuderia. Both have V8’s, however the CCX has a 4.7L with twin rotrex superchargers and the 430 has a 4.3L naturally aspriated engine which is why the CCX pumps out a monstrous 810bhp vs the 510bhp!

It was just announced that the Canadian Grand Prix which takes place in ‘hot as hell’ June in Montreal, QC (Canada) has been removed from the 2009 F1 Season Circuit. This was just announced today Tuesday October 7, 2008, by the International Automobile Federation. This will be the first time since 1987 that Canada will not host a Formula One race!
The Lamborghini Forza Lighter series features a single jet flame with rubber ignition button on the front of the lighter and a Gun-metal colored back. The lighter has a red fuel level window for fuel level monitoring.
HRE recently created a special rim exclusively for the Nissan GT-R R35 using their P40 Monoblock wheel design and will be made in their San Diego facility. This P40 monoblock design is a 1 piece forged wheel and is extremely lightweight. The wheels will accept OEM tire pressure monitoring devices and sizes can be cut to fit the OEM tires.
This is 1 of 7 rare $1.5 million dollar Ferrari 456 Venice Station Wagons in the world. It is a 442hp limited-edition V12 disaster in my humble opinion which was designed and built by Ferrari styling house Pininfarina for the Sultan of Brunei back in 1996.
The 5.5L V8 SLR engine with its roaring 626hp is upgraded to 700hp thanks to a supercharger and intercooler kit Mansory replaces. As a result the Mansory Renovatio SLR is two tenths faster from zero to 100km/h than the production model, while top speed climbs to 340km/h!

A Japanese company Weds Sport has manufactured the first full carbon fiber wheel. This carbon fiber wheel was manufactured using a Dry Carbon Fiber technique and was unveiled at this years Tokyo Auto Salon show.
