The first set of Maserati MC12 Versione Corses is being sold at an auction in Germany, with bids already reaching approximately $2.25 million. The Versione Corse is the mandatory production version of the Maserati's MC12 GT1 race car from the FIA GT-championship which in 2005, won the Manufacturers' Championship.

A Maserati MC12 has been listed on eBay. Only 25 were made in 2005 and just 7 were federalized for use in USA, one of which is this blue-and-white gem you see above. The current bid for this particular example is over $1,205,100 with 19 Hours left. Originally owned by a collector in Florida, it is up for sale by Lamborghini of Las Vegas and only has 521 virgin miles on her.

Maserati has taken the wraps of its $1.7 million supercar, a new track-only version of the World Championship-winning Maserati MC12 called the Corsa and which will only be sold to valued Maserati customers who will be restricted to using their new supercar on private track days.
If you're going to buy a one of the 50 Maserati MC12s that are street-legal, please do not drive it in the snow without the right equipment. How many times have I said that it's all about the tires?
