A fully documented, 427 hp/435 ci numbers-matching Yenko Corvette Convertible. This Corvette is one of only five of the rarest color combinations (White with Bright Blue Trim and Interior) and one of the highest factory optioned Corvettes known to exist.
One of the most dominating Corvettes in auto racing history was sold over the weekend at Gooding & Company's Pebble Beach Auction for an astounding $1.485 million. Grady Davis' Gulf Oil Racing Team purchased the Corvette in 1962 from Yenko Chevrolet. In 14 races, the Gulf Oil '62 Corvette finished first in class 12 times including wins at Daytona and Sebring and captured the 1962 A-Production Championship.
Amongst the far too common big-block this and that and customized whatever, we have FIVE vintage and historically significant Don Yenko products: three 1969 Camaros, a 1981 Turbo Z Camaro, and a rare Yenko Nova. All will be auctioned at Barret-Jackson this year.
