Spotted crisscrossing Death Valley, California, in 120-degree heat, the M3 prototypes in joshinthecity\342\200\231s exclusive spy photo have ditched it\342\200\231s heavy camouflage in favor of a few well-placed pieces of tape. Up front, you can now clearly see the more aggressive airdam and power dome hood. We\342\200\231re pretty sure the M3\342\200\231s trademark quarter-panel vents are hiding under the taped-on covers, too. Bulging fender flares are another M3 specialty, along with the set of quad pipes out back.

Shocked by Honda's radical new Euro Civic, Toyota has ordered a major restyle for its 10th generation Corolla. Insiders tell us that when Toyota bosses saw the new Civic at March's Geneva Show, they insisted the proposed new Corolla be restyled in an attempt to inject some much-needed excitement. Don't expect to see Corolla Mk10 here until early 2007.

Spy photographer Hans G. Lehmann caught the 2007/2008 BMW 3-Series sedan sans disguise today in Germany. The car is almost certainly a 335i turbo model. The car was first spotted driving up and down a mountain road with a disguise over the front end.

As it comes closer to releasing the vehicle, the disguises become increasingly thin. The new BMW E92 M3 Coupe will be available next year with a V8 engine and SMG transmission.

Taking on BMW\342\200\231s up-coming M3 and Mercedes\342\200\231 future C 63 AMG, the new IS 500 is certainly appreciated by sport-saloon fanatics. The F430 CS will launch later this year at the Paris Motor Show with its rival the Porsche GT3 RS. The new car is 100 kg lighter and will have 30 more hp (up to 520 hp) out of the same 4.3L V8 engine.

Ford\222s current F350 Super Duty pickup is already a huge truck, but it grows even bigger for the 2007 model year, when Ford gives its Super Duty trucks a restyling inside and out. The big news, however, is under the hood where the current 6.0 liter Power Stroke Diesel engine gets replaced by an even bigger 6.4 liter Power Stroke, which is reported to have not only more power and torque, but better reliability as well.

Here is a surprise from Germanys sports car maker Porsche. Caught in hot-weather testing in the US southwest are two nearly undisguised prototypes of a restyled Porsche 997 coupe and convertible. The prototypes have completely new headlamps with two lenses (current model has one) inside and a new front bumper. They also have new taillights of different shape and look and also a new rear bumper.

Spy photos of the upcoming 450 hp twin-turbo V6 powered Nissan as it does some drivetrain tests. The test mule is a G35 coupe, but there are obvious modifications.

Car and Driver has published a spy photo of the upcoming C-Class -- potentially the 503 hp, naturally aspirated V8 C63, due to the quad pipes and large wheels.

At first sight the second generation X5 looks like it carries on with the main characteristics from its predecessor. The new model has been developed under the code-name E70.

David Beckham was spotted cruising Beverly Hills with his three sons in his all-new, already fully customized Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe. His Drophead is slammed on custom built 24” Savini Forged wheels, color-matched exterior trim and Beckham’s “23” embroidered onto the seats.

The deep front air dam and big air intakes on this 2008 Mercedes-Benz C-Class are sure signs there's no ordinary V6 under the hood. This is a test mule of the high-performance 2008 Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG. Caught testing on Germany's infamous N\303\274rburgring, it's Mercedes' answer to the 2007 Audi RS4, which is already on sale, and the V8-powered 2008 BMW M3, which is still in the hopper.

Autoweek says it's just the base Lancer in this spy photo, but it could be a sign of things to come. They think that if you squint hard enough, you can imagine the Evo X being one helluva car.

The past month has brought many sightings of next-gen Subaru WRX test mules in Legacy bodies, but these are the very first photos of an actual WRX prototype, and it isn’t like any WRX we’ve ever seen.

The new Mini Cooper S is on its way, and to the delight of most owners, it'll look very much the same. It is about 25 cm longer and the front end has been reworked, but it will continue to be unmistakably Cooper.

Although Lotus is still cranking out new versions of the Elise, work is also under way on a replacement for the Esprit. It will hit the streets around 2008 and is expected to use a BMW V8 for power while sticking with the Lotus mantra of minimal weight. Although this test mule was spotted on the Nurburgring wearing an older Esprit shell, the odd proportions suggest this is most likely a test mule for the chassis of the new supercar.
