Corvette's ZR1 was spotted yesterday at the Nürburgring. Reports that the weather has been warm and dry over the previous days has brought out Team Corvette and their supercharged 638 hp Corvette ZR1, this time dressed in red. Eyewitnesses speculate that GM may have been looking for a lap time as he "spotted a helicopter chasing something that sounded very V8 and awfully supercharged..."

We have since learned that Team Corvette is expecting a lap time of "seven minutes, twenty-something seconds."
